    Trial wash outs?

Posted by Derek on 1/4/2021, 9:13 pm

any trainers or breeders out there that have a young dog that doesn't quite run big enough or doesn't point just right but is spot on at finding birds? My dad is looking for a pointing breed

I should have mentioned we are looking for a female...my father used to breed labs and would like to have a litter if the dog is worthy enough and we would both probably keep a puppy out of it as we build our new hunting arsenal ....we are mainly grouse and woodcock hunters in Michigan and take a trip out west when we can

I have a 20 month old male setter that fits the description.

A very well bred, nice young dog that is broke on pigeons, does not run big. Has been in 2 trial situations, finished with the handler both times.

        pedigree and pic available.
