Ric Peterson reported for the financial committee. He stated the AFTCA is a 501c3 corporation. As such, we file form 990 with the IRS annually. The AFTCA is audited by an independent auditor, Dempsey, Vantrese in Nashville, Tn Mr. Peterson stated the overall finances are in good condition. Current assets on the balance sheet are up over the last year that continues a positive trend with our asset up over our previous year. Mr. Peterson explained field trial revenue, club dues and Individual memberships are all up compared to the prior year. The Donation revenue was down in the 20th Century Fund compared to last year due to a few large donations in the prior year. Administrative expenses are down compared to last year....
So why the increase when things are actually moving positively? Going forward I can choose not to register. Unfortunately that will hurt the local amateur clubs more than the NAFTC
