I have lots of fond memories of Jet- many times in the winners circle. He was consistent always in the money. The one time I remember he wasn’t was at the National Amateur Grouse Championship at the Moose grounds. We ran together in the second brace on four inches of sticky snow . It was nuts -Ask Ken Moss he ran before us with Seeker- Impossible conditions!
Our main job was to keep the snow out of the bells. Nobody had birds! By the afternoon it was all gone.
Nevertheless Atlas was a fine dog- you will not find a handler or family that loved their dog more. I’m sure Jet is smiling down watching Greg do well with Rip.
