Welcome to the 80th Annual Lake States Grouse Championship. We have a great lineup of entries and look forward to a great week. WE are having a HANDLER’s Walleye Fish Fry DINNER at the Alibi on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. This event will be hosted again this year by Mike and Christine Brown. All are welcome. We will begin the Championship on Wednesday morning. We will run 7 braces on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 5 braces on Saturday beginning on course 1. We would like to leave the Alibi Hall at 7:45 each morning to hopefully get an 8 a.m. start. We will be using all 16 courses. Wherever we finish up one day, we will continue to the next course the following morning. We will have coffee break after the second brace and have lunch after the fourth brace each day at the Alibi. As always, we can use car movers and marshals and appreciate all the help.

At the conclusion of the Championship braces we will return to the Alibi for announcements.

A friendly reminder that if you have dogs staked out around the Alibi Hall and Campground area, they may not be left out unattended as per DNR rules. Thank you for abiding by these rules.

Sunday we will begin the Roger Johnson Open Derby on course 4. We will have a coffee break at the end of the 4th brace. We hope for good weather and will tailgate lunch after brace 9 at the end of course 12.
