Paul, I do not know off-hand, because last time we were out there it was boots on the ground discussion & planning. Don't quote me, but there's about a 30 acre section of mature forest which will be timbered and also have overgrown invasives (multiflora, honeysuckle) sprayed and/or mechanically removed in a multi-year project (herbicide contract is out), to get back to the good young stuff woodcock like. And there are other sections of nearby disused fields that will be turned into strips and/or be planted with seedlings. I'd say the section we are planting is in the 7-10 acre range.

But then they told me they want us to plant a couple other areas as well, and I am not yet sure where they are or if they will also have timbering and spraying. I know the former land manager had another spot in mind for woodcock work. I think I know which one he's thinking, but I am not sure.

This is away from pheasant stocking areas of the SGL.
