The Trading Freeze will be lifted for the 2027 CJIBL season on Sunday, November 1, 2026. It'll be one day before the 5 days after the MLB World Series so I can process the Gentlemen Agreements already made in a timely fashion.

OFF SEASON RULES AND MISCELLANEOUS
1) A LEAGUE WIDE TRADING/ROSTER FREEZE IS AUTOMATICALLY IN EFFECT FROM THE END OF THE CJIBL WORLD SERIES UNTIL FIVE DAYS AFTER THE MLB WORLD SERIES IS OVER. NO ROSTER MOVES MAY BE MADE DURING THIS TIME FRAME!
TRADING FREEZE is being lifted 4 days after the MLB World Series is over and the 2027 season can commence!
No 2028 CJIBL Draft Picks can be traded at this time. Once first cuts are made, when teams cut down to 35 players in late January, then that date will be released. More will be clarified when we get closer to that particular time in 2027.
