Hello GMs,

The 2026 CJIBL season is upon us. Erik and I think we should move up first cuts one to Saturday, January 24th (instead of 1/31/26) by 8pm and moving up trading for 2027 draft picks one week to January 31st (instead of 2/7/26). Most teams already know their cuts, and we have a firm foundation with our GM's, that no one is leaving and misusing their 2027 draft picks that this decision would be beneficial overall for CJIBL. If anyone has an issue with this please let me know, otherwise we will move this deadline for First Cuts, and Opening for trading 2027 Draft Picks up one week. Thanks in advance for your cooperation in this matter!
