I went through all teams' rosters and activated players of the IR that will be ready for Spring Training 2026 and definitely will not qualify for IR.

I texted teams to let them know who was activated and sent all GM's text stating this information.

Some players still qualify for CJIBL IR while some are still awaiting word on updates from their injuries/surgeries.

For example:
Chicago activated SP Reynaldo Lopez-atl off IR. (Should be ready for Spring Training.)
AJ Smith-Shawver-atl will definitely qualify for IR. (TJ surgery 6/9/25)
Zack Wheeler (shoulder) is likely to return in late May, so he qualifies for IR as well.

Rosters have been updated.

First Cuts, all teams must have 35 player rosters, is on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, by 8 pm.
