CONN Woods Division:
LOU wins*** Game 5 135.5 to 135.5
***Louisiana wins Tiebreaker on Pablo Lopez +40 to Altuve +31
LOU wins series 4-1
So much for no pitching for Louisiana. Pablo Lopez took the hill today and threw one of the most dominant performances of the season, pitching 8 scoreless innings, racking up 14 K's, and yielding only 2 hits for a +40. Heading into the Sunday Night Game Carcosa still trailed by 27 with only Doval left to go...Doval came in a save situation and closed the door putting up +27. Couldn't have scripted a crazier ending to this series. On the offensive side of things Louisiana had nice games from Nate Lowe +19, Witt Jr +17, and Bregman +11.
Congratulations to Commissioner/GM of Chicago Wildcats Nick, for a great series and a hell of a season. What we witnessed in Chicago this year was one of the greatest turnarounds in CJIBL history and we fully expect Chicago to be back in contention for a Championship next season....As long as that damn Curse can stay away. Lol.
Congratulations Louisiana!!!
