Hi GM's,

As we still wait for the Fantasy Professional Baseball Guide for 2023 to come out so we can figure out all team's salaries, we still need to set a 1st Cuts Date. Publications for this magazine and the secondary NBC Sports Edge Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide Spring 2023 have been released in early February the last few years. We also want to give team ample time to prepare for the draft with all 1st Cuts made in the same process.

All teams' cut down to 35 players!

Erik and I have decided to make 1st Cuts for the 2023 CJIBL season on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, by 6pm. That will be 4 weeks before the CJIBL Draft. Not sure if salary cap magazine will be out but hopefully it'll be close to that date.

Reminder: Once a team makes their 1st Cuts, that team cannot make a trade with a team that has NOT made their cuts.

Hopefully everything will fall into place, but this is the best-case scenario for everyone to plan accordingly for the 2023 CJIBL Draft on Saturday March 4th, 2023, in South Carolina, hosted by Mike Burke!
