I spoke with Vice Commissioner Erik and SP situation for the early part of the season, the shortened first and first full week of CJIBL regular season and we both agreed.

Some SP won't be stretched out to pitch fully through their first turns through the rotation, limited innings for each SP to begin the season are also going to be a part of it. With some off days, teams don't always use their #5 SP but can still be listed in your top 7 SP similar to past years.

So, for the shortened first week and through the first full week or week 2 of the CJIBL regular season, if a SP is NOT on the IL, and they are supposed to be a SP this year, they can be used in your top 7 SP Lineup.
