MLB Rosters have been expanded to 28 players due to the shortened Spring Training until May 1st.
Erik and I have discussed this and have come up with a plan for CJIBL.

Every team will cut down to 41 players instead of 40 on Tuesday, April 5th, by 7pm.

We will still have the #1 Free Agent/Waiver Pickups as a freebie, meaning everyone will be allowed to pick up one extra player and not have to cut anyone totaling 42 players. #1 FA/Pickups will be claimed on Saturday 4/9 by midnight, to be processed on Monday 4/11 with the 2021 Draft Order being used for claiming players.

Regular CJIBL Rules will apply for all FA Pickups.

On Monday May 2nd, all teams will cut down to 41 players and rosters will stay that way through the 2022 season as we decided during the off season.
