The 2022 CJIBL Draft will be on Saturday March 5, 2022 at noon, regardless!

Some GM's are having reservations about gathering due to the resent COVID-19 activity and rightfully so. Your health is first and foremost!
We are still leaving open the gathering at Erik's house for the draft but we will revisit this as the draft gets closer. If we must, we will have a Zoom Draft like last year if things don't get better and even if they do, and GM's are not comfortable gathering, having the online setting will work just the same.

I'm going to tentatively set the First Cut Date for Saturday, January 29, 2022 by midnight. That will give team 5 weeks to prepare for the draft.

The Owner's lockout of players has put a damper on activity but does not relegate us from NOT having our draft in a timely manner. Spring Training has no bearing on how we draft from year to year and nothing has changed in that respect.
