COVID has but a wrinkle in fielding competitive lineups the last two years. With the vaccine, things should be moving forward in the right direction but new variants keep throwing curveballs around so we have to look at all possible scenarios.

As a GM, IF I knew this was a possibility we would consider, trading picks and players that I could have kept may have changed. I was operating under the current 35 players for 1st cuts, then only keeping 40 players for the 2022 season.

If it's in the "Best Interest of the CJIBL" then I wouldn't mind as much but it could give some teams an unfair advantage changing things with the trades already made and the picks that would or would NOT have been traded.

I will keep an open mind and listen to what others have to say in regards to this topic. I would like to get back to normal as much as possible if we can. Just some of my thoughts...
