I heard this song the other day for the first time in many years and thought it would be a good one for Throwback Thursday. It was one of the first songs I really loved and came out right around the time the Beatles had taken over the charts.

Years later I learned that True Love Ways had actually been written by the great Buddy Holly and recorded during his last recording session, just four months before his tragic passing. I like both versions equally well, what do you think?
