I recently had a litter with a generational Dam and and my male stud who is OEB but more foundational... His mother and father were both OEB's but American was in his background a little more than the others OEB's are made out of back to the variety of looks topic!!My litter was very mixed but all of them were OEB's and you could tell they were no "oops" ...... so the one that was picked by a local(breeding options left open to me) was "the pick" of the litter so we thought but then he went through this long gangly stage(huge though) with a long nose etc... More like the AB..... He's a big boy but tall, long nose and I hate to say but tall and almost gangly... well he's growing up into SOME DOGGE!! Although some of my more experienced bully buddies(you know who you are) picked out the other two pick of the litters (they were right) I hoped that this other dogge would grow into his nose etc..(It's the boy the people wanted!) By dog I think he is!! I can not wait until he's 2 to really see what he's like..He's only 8 months olde right now but already improving!! I could use him in my program but because of this I've been a little nervous but "pick of the litter" going to "Geez I don't know" to "omg he looks like an AB" now to" wow not that bad." so? I think you have nothing to worry about!! But if you want more of the same looks in a litter do research on Line breeding? if you havn't already.. That's how you can not completely get away from it but you would have more of a consistent look Here's some pics of our last litter but take a look at how different they looked!! everywhere from noses to bodies etc.... Sire RTK's Grimm Reaper
Dam MW's Fancy Nancy
Archie at 7 weeks olde... He has more of a foward ear like his dad and longer muzzle but not as long as the boy I'm talking about.. I'll post him next
Here's the pup at 7 weeks then again a couple months older and huge!!
Another girl from the same litter 7 weeks and a few months older that her mommy sent me
8 weeks and then later
Hope this has helped some?I came on here to post some new pics of our pup but ended up doing this lol....
