Sorry about the non-viewable article - it was accessible from my part of the world and no paywall issue here. But basically, it caught my interest because it profiled one hereditary peer (the Earl of Devon) and in the interview with Lord Devone focused on his long line of ancestry and being present in the Lords, and he felt that sense of history and continuity would be a loss to the revised Lords going forward. So his own interest was not in any future seat for himself in the Commons, which was just my thinking about the wider meanining of this Bill. I hope you have been well.
