As I was a stamp collector when very young and still take the occasional interest, I thought this was an interesting new set of UK stamps which is centered on the Tower of London and some if its royal and other history - notably in the royal issues, being stamps showing Lady Jane Grey, the Two Princes, and Anne Boleyn. The Post Office has wisely decided to tag each of the aforementioned just as "Imprisoned" and then allow the viewer to do his/her research as needed. Sir Walter Raleigh achieved no less than three imprisonments in the Tower, which is a fact I long ago forgot myself. There are also some very nice contemporary exterior views of the Tower and its grounds, along with the Beefeaters of course and surprise, surprise even one for the Tower's own Ravens. The link I'm trying to put in here allows the viwer to scroll sideways for more views of various values...all in a FB page dedicated to philately so hopefully it will open for viewing here also.
