Can someone enlighten me as to the reason why the King and Queen have to alter their schedule for the upcoming election? Would they be stealing the limelight or is to ensure politicians calendars are cleared? The King as Head of State represents continuity and neutrality and should be able to carry on with most engagements without much further ado I'd say.
