Where you live doesn't necessarily make any difference. Lived there too, and my mother lived and died there - and stipulated she wanted her remains taken back to the U.S. for burial which I had to oversee. Not easy even when well pre-arranged, and indeed took weeks. However, my point there being that even though her final interrment took some time, we still did the memorial mass before and separately from the actual burial. So yes - that can be managed. If the parties concerned want a memorial service done swiftly, it can be done. Previous Message Funerals in England (where I live ) don’t happen fast . From my experience 3 weeks is fast ! A friend’s mother died recently ( old age , nothing suspicious )…7 weeks later she was buried !! Previous Message It's not unusual in the UK for funerals to be delayed, when my mother passed away her funeral was three weeks later (no suspicious circumstances etc).
