I have a question that I just cannot seem to get an answer to , so of course I will post it here ! The mantle of the Order if the Thistle is a dark green velvet , why did the Pss Royal wear a mantle of a light green colour in 2022, her brother Charles wore the dark green mantle . ( her mantle at the Coronation was the dark green )...I have checked and double checked ( via the internet and my reference books ) and just cannot figure it out ! Can someone help ?

I think that in some images from last year it maybe the way the light is striking the robe. In this image it looks a light green.
