Surely The King Will wear a kilt ... he's always wearing them in Scotland ... however , maybe that's for less formal occasions ? From memory he was in uniform for the ceremonies for The late Queen.

I've finally decided to post this pic of Queen Elizabeth II receiving the Honours of Scotland.
As I recall, the Scots were very disappointed that she wore straightforward day dress for such an occasion.
That set me thinking just what the King might wear. It might be his most ceremonial version of Admirals uniform or Order of the Thistle robes.
Any other suggestions?
