But that's the point of elected officials isn't it: you can vote them out when, say: they mingle with the wrong sort, repeatedly do terribly strange things, start to behave like spoiled baboons and think they still live in 1850. Gosh that does sound like royals doesn' t it?
I don't think the days of the British monarchy have ended but it's a telling sign that the monarchy will be resting on a less solid foundation so its wise to watch its weight...
