There's the move of the Wales to Adelaide Cottage (which was quite an interesting choice of house IMHO), the recent decision by the Crown Estate to terminate the lease agreement with the Sussexes for Frogmore Cottage and the speculated pending termination of the lease agreement with the DoY for Royal Lodge by the Crown Estate.
What's going on here? It all seems a bit chaotic and certainly can't be about money. The family has plenty of money. Also privately after inheriting from QEII.
For now the King and Queen still reside in Clarence House but will it become the Official London Residence of the PoW? Seems likely but what will happen to Kensington Palace after they move out officially and the old cousins have all died.
HM The King presently has a number of residences at his disposal and also the Prince of Wales is not lacking accommodation across the country....
