Safeguarding the UK's trade and commercial interest throughout the CW as well as securing the position of Charles II as its Head during a time when CW member states are reassessing their special relationship with the UK and the Crown. The EU market is fast becoming less attractive for British firms based in the UK alone, regardless what Westminster says and would like the public to believe, Brexit has come at a price for the British economy and the trade volumes outside of the EU need to go up to counter the negative effects.
