When Johnson became PM after May’s resignation, he did not form a new Govt, but did he after winning the elections? Or formulating it differently. If the same party which is in Govt. wins a general election, does the PM resign and is appointed again or not?

Yes, Johnson resigned as PM before the last General Election. For the 6 weeks of campaigning in the run up to the Election the UK had no Government or PM. When the Conservatives won again, the Queen asked Johnson to be PM and form a Government.
