The panel posted shows how the Imperial State Crown has been reshaped for each monarch. That does not happen to St Edward's Crown.

There has been no announcment or statement made that only the Imperial Crown will be used at the Coronation. I think, it is just my opinion/thought, that he will be crowned with St. Edward's Crown, but will depart the Abbey, as did his mother, wearing the Imperial Crown.
