Happy Memorial Day Colonel! I told my wife I wanted to spend the 50 bucks on the AEW PPV last night, and I got a bit of a "look" from her, but nothing too scary...It was a great PPV, I mean legit great, and memorable. So different feeling that most shows now that you forget the minute they're done, this felt like something more substantial. Hot crowd was part of it for sure, but a lot of heart shown by the performers on it. Like I said before, you can tell these people working this show want to be there, and feel appreciated by the management, it shows in their work. This show was far, far, far from perfect, don't get me wrong, tons of room for improvement on it, but it was great, I'm not kidding. It's just a breath of fresh air from the WWE. They are not going to put WWE out of business, and I don't think they want to. But...It does seem like WWE is on the selling block to me, the conspiracy theory that Nick Kahn was brought in to sell the company might end up being true, time well tell. That guy is a deal maker for sure, he gets big deals closed. WWE is worth far far less the day Vince McMahon is no longer running it, and that day is less than 10 years away.
