As someone said, billionaires have much better lawyers than the government, especially Nashville, who can't give away taxpayer money fast enough to billionaires. And every deal like this they make they claim it's bringing in billions to the city until budget time comes and they find out they are heavily in debt.
It really has little to do with the soccer stadium. What Ingram wants is the property surrounding it, which will pay him much more than the stadium.
To many now in Nashville it does not have any historical significance because most here have only been here less than 10 years.
Nashville used to be the home of authentic music. And just like the music industry here, the city has sold it's soul so people here can keep up with the Joneses.
