1. Shawn Dean vs Joey Lynch
These guys both ooze athleticism and the airtime would be off the charts. It would be a heck of an opportunity for Dean to prove himself, as he is doing every time he steps into the ring lately.
2. Orion Bishop vs Logan Creed
Bishop is "the strongest wrestler I've ever been in the ring with" is a statement that I've heard from a lot of guys that I really respect. He's a monster but so is Creed, who is as on top of his game as he's ever been. This would be probably 600lbs colliding in the ring with an equal amount of scary athletic ability.
3. AC Mack vs Sal Rinuaro
Oh, the charisma...the promos...and the storytelling along with what would be fantastic ring work as well. Sal ages like fine wine and Mack would probably bust a bottle of wine over an opponent's head if given the chance.
4. Brett Ison vs Stryknyn
These guys are killers with mean streaks. This would be an absolute slugfest brawl that I don't think could be contained inside of a ring.
5. Cyrus vs AJ Gray
Hybrid powerhouses that have speed and aerial assaults. Both of these guys have international experience and the intensity to make this a big match.
6. Joe Black vs Warhorse
Two brickhouse, dominant and dynamite guys that can throwdown with the best of them.
7. GymNasty Boys vs Washington Bullets
I couldn't find an instance of this happening and I know it would surely be impressive and fun.
8. Cabana Man Dan vs Corey Hollis
Two guys with roots in Alabama. Dan was finishing up as Hollis was starting up about 10 years ago. As much as crowds hate Hollis, that's how much they like Dan - and they're both psychology masters that can mat wrestle or get creative when needed.
9. Benjamin Carter vs Kevin Ryan
I'm not sure there's a high flying move that either one of these guys COULDN'T do. Gravity may not apply here.
10. Lee Johnson vs Kyle Matthews
Johnson has the in-ring abilities to break out and Matthews is treating everyone to a return run in 2020 after a brief retirement.
11. Chip Day vs Sean Legacy
Day has proven time and time again that he can compete with the best wrestlers in the world. Legacy has already opened a lot of eyes with his abilities and accomplishments in just a short time.
12. Alan Angels vs Adam Priest
A heavenly themed technical bout featuring two driven guys who are constantly proving themselves more and more in the ring.
13. Matt Sells vs George South
Steve Austin says a wrestler can learn a lot from losing. If that's true then Matt Sells got a PHD in 2019, as he's gone the whole year(as of 12/16/19 without picking up a win). George South is a master of entertainment and a treasure of wrestling. Someone may need to remind them it's a wrestling match though because I'm pretty sure they could get everyone distracted and never even lock up.
14. Slim J vs Hunter Young
THE guy everyone kept telling me about when I was putting together my top 100 Georgia list was Hunter Young. He's a newcomer with a lot of promise and Slim J is the premier cruiserweight veteran(though he certainly extended himself beyond weight classes). The ultimate proving ground match for Young.
15. The Undisputed(Shane Marx, William Huckaby, and Brian Blaze with Matt Hankins) vs Team TAG(Billy Buck, Kevin Blue, and Chris Spectra)
These guys would need 6 months minimum to settle or prove anything. There's enough talent, muscle, and mouth between these two teams that the fire would just keep burning.
16. Simon Sermon vs Fred Yehi
Two talented technicians who also have plenty of personality.
17. David Ali vs Jaden Newman
Two guys on their way up that would both bring a lot of crowd support and passion to a match or feud.
18. Geter vs Aiden Wright
It would take a certain amount of guts to want to throw down with the behemoth known as Geter but Aiden Wright has proven that he doesn't back down from anyone. He has proven versatility over the last couple of years with matches against top independent lightweight guys and heavyweights.
19. Jason Collins vs Ashton Starr
Collins is a talented veteran who has no trouble making people hate him. Starr has improved each year and become a beloved competitor.
20. O'Shay Edwards vs Gnarls Garvin
This one may be cheating because it's actually happening on February 8th at the Scenic City Rumble. These mobile powerhouses are racking up accolades and supporters all across the United States and they'll go one on one in a couple of months!
