As Billy Corgan has freely admitted online today, technically, especially on the audio side, the iPPV itself was something of a disaster, which is too bad cause the stream itself was awesome, and though an up and down show in ring for sure, it had an enjoyable vibe to it. Jim Cornette was tremendous the whole show, and he spent a fair bit of time calling the type of matches he doesn't like, plus the bevy of technical issues, but he was a joy to listen to...Whoever thought it was an idea to add a "Kiss my foot" stip to a match with no build in 2018 really needs to study what works nowadays, and what doesn't. That doesn't, it's stupid. There's a lot of old school stuff that can be incorporated in, but there's some that can't, I think some people in wrestling have trouble telling the difference. They seem to think, it's the south, it'll work. No, it won't.... Jocephus cut a good promo, but the payoff was Shannon Moore and Crazy Steve, and then they lost??? Huh?? I do like Crimson and Dane as a team, but they also seem like could both be in the NWA title picture as singles.....Willie Mack should be a top babyface in WWE right now making millions, even with that body. He's simply tremendous in the ring, and at connecting with the fans. Sam Shaw looked big time......The main event didn't grab me that strongly, though the fans live were pretty into it. The finish came off as flat though, but the good thing is it came off like a real sports presentation at the finish, sadly though, too much of the body of the match didn't, with the girls, and all of the out of the ring shenanigans. Mildly surprised they took it off Cody already. The announcement of the Crockett Cup returning got a huge pop, not sure why it did, but it sure did.
