How can they have made too many toys?

I've spoken to various people about this. It makes NO sense that toy makers distribute very few of some figure while charging the same for all of them. Then the store jacks the price way up and/or collectors horde boxes and boxes of one figure and put them on ebay for $80 instead of $12.

The toymaker gets nothing out of this unless there is a kickback, which is illegal. Now, legal issues seldom get in the way of profit, but with the action figure collectors AND reviewers putting a few million spotlights on each toy, is a toy company going to break international law? Only if there is pure heroine shipped in some figures that nobody will get by accident.

None of it makes any sense.

Anyway, getting back to where we were, does this mean we'll still get all those figures, just in Toybiz quality instead of Hasbro trash? I keep buying Hasbro because it's the only game in town. Sub-Mariner is horrible

The best thing to do is buy Legendary Heroes and make the figures yourself. Conan is the perfect base for any 6' figure with huge muscles. Just switch out the arms with ML III Thor and put on the head of your choice.

I'm going to make Black Bolt with a Black Panther body and a Havoc head with that fork shaved to the right size.

Nova will be a combination of GM Thor's torso, Black Knight's arms and legs and head. And perhaps X-Men Magneto's head and painted helmet.
