Can I umpire a USSSA event if I am not sanctioned?
I umpire USA currently.

No you cant. All Usssa officials are background checked.Get online, pay your sanction. Then you'll receive an email. Fill it out and wait acouple days. If you passed you'll receive another email with you sanction number. Only then your good to go.

Might want to look into the registered umps in the Mitten.
