Pocket City Dual!

40 Conference men's teams total:
4 Conference Major teams
11 Conference AA teams
12 Conference A Teams
13 Conference B Teams

And 18 Conference Women's teams.

Evansville has 8 turf fields.

Playing a dual. I (DW) am dubbing this the "Slowpitch National Championship" meaning this is basically all of the conference teams fighting it out on true 300 foot fields for two tournaments. Fields are 300-315-300 dimensions. Kind of a championship the way softball was meant to be played on 300's.

But they need umpires!

Hello, I’m a USSSA certified umpire with 3 majors under my belt. I’m from Kansas City, so Evansville is an easily drivable distance for me. Marshall Grissom, a current Conference umpire, can vouch for me and my ability.

I can second that. I'm from KC and have him on a weekly basis in games.. In a job where it's extremely difficult to receive praise, Garrett is praised a ton from people here that understand the game at this level.

I think it’s awesome that Deaconess is setting a record, does this mean non conference teams can’t get in?

Don’t use the local Evansville umpires, not good enough to do upper ball.
