He took over for Jeff Flood and Robo.

That being said Wik didn't come out of nowhere, it is his third year. He was supposed to play with Dan Smith in 2021 but Dan folded in the offseason and he went to Classic Glass and won 'A' Worlds with them playing shortstop in the 'A' Worlds.

Add him to the list of drafted MiLB guys who play slowpitch. Harvey/Cubs and Bradley Jones/BlueJays are the only 2 im aware of.

This monsta team is an absolute blast to watch. they mesh well and have a great time at the park. seem to be playing very relaxed and for love of the sport.

The thing about Wik is, he can piss middle, hit a dinger, or pop up to the catcher, and 5 minutes later, he'll have a smile on his face, enjoying the game for what it is...a game. I guess after playing minor league ball, this is easy. The live stream does no justice to how hard he hits the ball. Sometimes it's unfair to pitchers. Check out The condensed game vs smash it. Andy had no chance at 2 he smoked.

Vitcak was hit by a line drive at the Texas Legends and has a slight fracture/bone bruise I think he described it. He can play but can't run. They are hoping a month off and he will be ready for the smoky.

Carucci was going to be drafted but he was so good at every position so they didn’t know where to play him. In the confusion over where to play him Eddie Gaedel was given Carucci’s opportunity and the rest is history. He had some big shoes to fill but I believe not only did he fill them but he was able to stand above the competition.
