why does an ump never say anything to him after a at bat when he throws his bat cause he got out.. I get he puts effort into the game but stop acting like that. I guess it will NEVER change as it is a topic year after year. and yes everyone would love to have him on their team but........

I think it's pretty clear a lot of people are jealous that Andy gets a perceived preferential treatment. Why else would anyone care so much about another player? Coincidentally, one of the most successful players of all time.

It's not Andy's fault it is the sissy umps fault for creating that. Can't be mad/jealous of Andy. Should be upset with the umps for not holding everyone accountable at the same level.

I agree with Ressy Fan.

Andy is, without a doubt, one of, if not the greatest of all time.

That being said, it is increasingly hard to watch him (and a few others honestly, one who was suspended last year) without feeling they act childish very often.

The ‘he’s competitive’ ‘you’re just jealous and you suck’ and the ‘he just wants to win’ excuses are old.

Grown men complaining about every pitch, throwing bats, threatening to throw a ball at another players head….are not good for the game.

Then again, I am, nor will I ever be, even close in talent to the worst player on a Major Team, so obviously my opinion doesn’t matter.
