How about another year to date comparison of OBP, runs per game, HR per game? After intently watching and comparing many games from last yea to this year the 240 bats seem to be having a significant impact on Major level softball. Even the biggest and best hitters seem to be making different adjustments at the plate on certain fields in certain conditions. It seems as if before, not as many adjustments were necessary to overcome field sizes and the elements. This is NOT A KNOCK on any player at any level, just observations as this year progresses and the game seems to evolve. It seems that the 240 technology is bringing in another chapter in Major Division softball just as CU31 aluminum, double wall aluminum, and the first generation composites did. It certainly is a interesting topic....
