Then who is paying them? I wouldn't think most of these would play for nothing except travel expenses.

lol, your post clearly shows your jealous that many players play for Carucci for free and and others who are deserving of weekend money have taken a significant pay cut. I play for Carucci and I do not get paid anything extra. I choose to be apart of a winning program without the drama and changing of rosters every second. I personally prefer to win with my team not winning by purchasing a ring.

Carucci has a womens major team and a conference mens A team and not one of those players get paid either. More then likly its probably a conference player that Carucci said he wasnt going to pay and is pissed that he wouldnt do it. Trust me I know alot of them.

Correct me if I’m mistaken but I don’t think teams Carucci actually coaches have won anything. Last year his AA team (best AA team on paper according to him) went 0-2 at AA world. The year before his A team went 2-2 at A worlds. So for the two years he’s coached he’s 2-4 in world tournament play that his team actually play all year to win.. This year maybe he’ll win the major but people sure are giving a lot of credit to a coach who is 2 games under 500 in world tournaments his teams play all year to win.

Men’s B world champs - carucci doesn’t coach that team

That B team is the only program that has won anything under MPT

So give that coach credit but not carucci because he doesn’t coach them

And congrats on 2nd at major. You played well in a tournament with no expectations for his team. AA world, huge expectations, went 0-2

What does hating on someone do for you? Is it because he hurt your feelings at one point? Just be happy another sponsor has brought more to the game. All levels need more sponsors like him

I’m not hating. I’m just stating the facts of Carucci’s coaching career thus far. As a sponsor he’s great for the game and to be more frank the game needs more sponsors like him. However, being a great sponsor is not the same as being a great coach. The comments started with how great of a coach carucci is. When the facts get revealed about his coaching career all of the sudden I’m hating. I view it as stating facts and sometimes the facts run counter productive to the narrative trying to be put out on this website.

Knowing him for 15 years im sure Carucci has his hand in every team he coaches or sponsors from picking players, to how the team is run on and off the field. Seems people are envious. Im sure that B team who had players from all over the U.S. just showed up and said hey will you sponsor us. Carucci should just do it the easy way and pay all these players the money they wanted like others and go win 5 majors to shut up the haters.

So beating Dan Smith 2 times with 1/8th the payroll and having only 9 player points compaired to Dan Smiths unlimited as well as almost and should have beat Ressy in the winners bracket final had nothing to do with coaching? Lets not even talk about one of the best games I ever seen at the smokies. Give the guy his due he is clearly more then a sponsor.

I have never met a coach who won any game for their team. Players on the field decide who wins and who losses that game not the coaches.

Coaches can’t win a game but they sure can lose a game for their team.

Ok ... here’s your credit. Congrats for taking 2nd place at the major. Your team performed well when they didn’t have the expectation of winning that tournament bestowed upon them from the outset. As a AA team playing at the major, You’re playing with house money. Meaning you don’t do well, no big deal as you weren’t expected to win the major. Now flip it to the AA. They were expected to perform and win that tournament. So at the tournament with all their expectations, he coached them to 0-2.

So congrats you can add a 2nd place participation trophy to your winning program trophy case.

Until you win a ring, you won’t be considered a “championship program.”

He pays players maybe not as much as other but he does... even someone commented he had 1/9 the payroll Dan smith had.... that means he spent 100k easily..... money has to go somewhere....

As a sponsor it’s about recruiting. That’s his responsibility not to coach the day to day. Oh wait he also has to put a good coach in place to make those decisions. I think the guy misspoke and meant to say sponsoring instead of coaching. Just my 2 cents.
