Boone's/One Nation Softball Tournament

The dates are February 26th and 27th. Friday night HR derby will begin at 6:30pm. Games will begin at 8pm. Limited to the first 24 teams, already have 17 registered. Contact Boone at rboone@bryan.k12.ga.us if you are interested in putting a team in. Thanks

Either will be played at Paulson Complex or Sandhill Complex, just waiting to finalize. We will be golfing Friday around 10 or 11, and cooking depends on where we have it. 19 teams have confirmed, and we are limiting it to the first 24.

Prob gonna cancel the tournament the day before because of rain... meanwhile an hour a way tournament got thrown together over night and it never even rained. Maybe rain had nothing to do with it and he advertised a tournament he never had fields for. I have been to the Boone’s every year for the last 4 years but after last year I won’t be back.

That my friend is a dumb POST..
Boones tourney has been going strong for almost 20 years..
Yes.. a yearly Pick up tourney that some of best softball players in the country has attended ..
So for you to think that Boone would intentionally have people show up for no reason..
You are a sad person..
Boone is one the nicest guy to play at the highest level and remain grounded..
So before you take a shot at the man about things that’s out of his control (WEATHER) you should take a look in the mirror and try and do what he has done with his tourney all these years..

I remember one year we started the tournament Friday night. We played 2 games but it started to rain non stop all night into the next day. Boone tried his best to move to another complex. Which I believe he did in Pooler Ga where they played a few games but it eventually rained that out as well. I personally love playing in that tournament just for the atmosphere and friends I have gained through out the years.

REALLY!!!!!! You don't know me at all, if you think I cancelled my tournament for no reason. You don't have a clue to what you're talking about!!! I did everything i possibly could to get the tournament in, but when the complexes(bc I tried to get several of them to let us play Saturday) say no, then you don't play!! I do agree with you on one point, that they should have let us play Saturday and Sunday, but the guys in charge said NO!!! When renting these complexes, you are at their mercy when it comes to weather decisions!! By the way, i lost over $500 because i had to buy insurance for the fields (non refundable)!!! So, you might want to stay home, if that's the way you feel.

Some of us who don't even play anylonger just come to Booooneeeessss to hang out in the Left Field Lounge (LFL) just because we've always come to support Randell and tell each other stories about those good old days and NAS and see Huggy Bear. Boone wants everyone to play and have a good time and would only cancel because the park directors said NO.. Unlimited Homeruns and bring that bag of Stadiums .47 core "it's Be here or be Sober!" Hoping I'm able to get up again this year and play golf then listen to them Hitta Dranka Singa's in the LFL...

Chad31 that year you should have come back to Henderson Park that year and partied as we won that Boone's T-shirt by default being the only ones left at the park!
