USC and LSU were co national champ in 2003. There was no official championship game yet at that point.

I believe USC was stripped of the 2004 National Championship as well

I'm pretty sure Texas beat USC in 2006. One of the best college games I've ever seen. Maybe I have a bias.

And I have to live in this damn city that still lives off of UT winning that game. Vince Young actually plays co-ed ball here, and he SUX!

The Title of the post said National Championship Game Winners.
In 2003 the BCS national championship game was played between LSU and Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.

USC got the a vote but did not play in the game, not unlike UCF in 2017
