Because I would love to know what softball legend I’m talking to? And would love to hear about all these Big rings you have meaning (major rings) Every team I’ve put on the field since day 1 I stand behind them win or lose, I have some great players that always competed for me and I appreciate that 🤙🏽.

Collins has a Pure deal so I would think it’s good PR to play on that team. Having said that some MPT guys at TFT were swinging bats other than Juno.

Played on Bay Area last year and yoley is one of the best ppl in softball. He doesn’t back down from anything. If AA rings are small I would like one lol

Same question for you though. What are the benefits of not playing as a Major team besides not being able to play one tournament (AA Worlds)Is AA more important to win?

DW had a post earlier and stated he just doesn't understand why some AA teams don't add those last couple pieces to make their team better even if it makes them a Major team.

Curious your thoughts on that?

I said why hold back on the last few pieces you need to win more games each weekend in order to play AA worlds.

Each weekends Major is usually a better field of teams than AA worlds. Yet most in softball think its more prestigious to win AA worlds than say the Cincinnati Major or the Chicago Major for example.

I am not saying I am right and they are wrong. In fact most don't agree with me.

It is crazy though a team with 9 points will usually have a better season than a team with 11 points. Its a phenomenon that happens when a team mentally thinks they can't win the major they then underperform on a weekly basis. So I understand teams stopping at 9 points. I guess it keeps the players focused.

I truly enjoy AA worlds. I just don't understand a team that is at the max 9 points being happy with their week in and week out performance for one world at the end that could get washed out by a hurricane or won by a team with 2 roster points.

If you aren't close to 9 points then this doesn't apply because you are aren't holding back.

When people talk about the best teams, best players, best sponsors, they talk about world champs, thwy dont talk about qho won the Cincy major in 2015.... I couldn't name half the tournaments I've won over the years, but can name every world championship... Teams are built to give themselves the best chance to win their worlds at their level...
Why would a team add extra guys that can't help them get it done at the next level just because they are "labeled" as better players.. Makes no sense... Let me build a team of the worst " Major listed" players to play against the best.. If you dont have deep enough pockets you can't get the best...
I play to win every game, every weekend, to win,, but if know anything about talent you know to beat the best, they have to be off, and you have to be perfect to have a chance... So I want to be on a team qith guys that I know if we're good, and their good we still can win. Not a team of if were good, and their good, we get runruled.....

Yes miracles happen, and have been happening more and more over the years, but their is a reason that the top 3 teams win 99% of the MWS...🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I think I pretty much wrote that in my posts.

But I covered most AA and above worlds and I couldn't list the winners off the top of my head.

I do remember when MPT and Precision made the finals of Cincinnati and the Smoky. Those stand out to me.

AA tournaments are great competition but they are usually about the 15th best strength of field of teams of each year.

And there is nothing wrong with that.
