Another common argument players make. "I shouldn't be on the major list because I am not on a major team".
Stro was right a couple years ago when he wanted to rename the lists to AAA and AA list because players get confused on what the major list is and what it does which is roster point AA and A teams. Has nothing to do with Major. But alas points are only one of many classification tools.
But then calling them the AAA and AA list would only work if there was no AA else the AA players would get confused with the term AA just like the term major list is confusing now.
It is amazing that major players want to hamstring their team all year long to play one AA tournament at the end of the year then hamstring their chances at the major for the same reason and to top it off we play with a bat that can be altered and or fall out of compliance...
The more things change the more they stay the same.
