To echo Robís point, this is why most ASA companies are moving to non-linear bats for the ASA line. For example, the Monsta DNA, probably the most popular ASA bat of the last decade, had a senior bat 1.21 shell but their inner barrel technology kept the batís performance within ASAís guidelines for exit speed certification. Not a conspiracy, and all of that can be verified in the Monsta Facebook group. Demarini also uses (or used) non linear bats as well.
You need a soft shell to really get the batís trampoline effect out of a .52/300 ball.
