18 teams in the major right? Let's say 15 guys max get swings.
So once the major teams are established those 15 players from each roster select 2 bats from a bat company (model/weight) which each player can then come and tape to their liking in front of USSSA reps. They are then bucketed and stored. I'm sure the bat companies would have no problem supplying 300 or so bats at cost to USSSA for the major.
And there you have it every player is hitting out of the wrapper, "stock" bats. And the added time for players to come tape their bats to their liking is saved by not having to test bats for the rest of the tournament.
In 18 team double elim the most games you could play is 10, so if you lost the first game and played all the way back and averaged 5 ABs a game the most swings that could be put on a bat is 50.
Throw that out there, see who calls that idea dumb or doesn't want it, and you'll see who the cheaters are.
