I can give you one good example this year of a director bumping a team who built it with no players classified above E. A team from Indiana called Cedar Creek with a bunch of 17 and 18 year old kids was bumped to D after one tournament. If 17 and 18 year old kids don't qualify for being in E for one year, then I don't know who does. The director said they beat the D teams in a combined D/E tournament so they needed to be bumped. That seems pretty subjective after 1 tournament. Granted, they are really good for their age but the subjective nature of the bump is the issue. This is the first year they were old enough to play but shouldn't they get their chance to win E Worlds? Rock Run as Silverbacks did the same thing when they were 17-18 years old and they didn't get bumped and didn't win E Worlds. So I guess the question is why do these kids get bumped?
