The easy answer is…SHARE BATS…something like Each team is required to put a minimum of 6 bats into a bucket at the beginning of the game and any player can swing any bat in the barrel.

We did a version of this in a tourney and the team everyone thought was cheating while dominating during the season didn’t win a game.
