I'll ask you to think larger picture here, and imagine what bat provided would do to bat sales at lower levels. Equip sales and licenses would dry up faster than it already is. mandating that one type of ball is used at the tourney is fairly easy and fine, balls are pretty consumable. If Utrip went to bat provided at all levels for tourney play, it would hurt business in a bad way. Bad bad way.
