Experience can’t be easily replaced. As much as many players , managers and sponsors think that being an umpire is easy and that anyone can do it, that simply isn’t true. It requires a serious commitment to be the best and continue improving each game. Doc, Jason and the others mentioned exemplify that characteristic. As I have said on many occasions, if the Conference wants to be seen as the best slow pitch softball, it needs the best umpires
