Buckshot messaged one of our players asking “U thinking about getting released?”
There is no love lost between Buckshot and Miller at all since he was released by CE last year. Not only is there no love lost, Buck is pretty much down right disrespectful to both Miller and myself. Me, I could give 2 shits less about someone being petty and disrespecting me. I won’t lose any sleep over it and it won’t change anything about me. However, BMills will and does over the disrespect and tampering with players and I totally get it and support his stance. Eventually USSSA has to do something about situations like this or just totally do away with the “tampering rule”. Even though Buckshot says that it was a question because someone told him that the player was asking for his release, we all know the question wasn’t worded nor intended to be taken that way. And if he really wanted to clear the air, Buckshot should let us know who told him that so we could get to the bottom of it, otherwise it is just crap spewing out of someone’s mouth or a lie to cover up a wrong doing. Either way, none of our players want to leave our team because we treat them like people and not property.
