The problem with having the player responsible here is there is no communication back from coach/sponsor. What else is he supposed to do??? Someone has to step in and get communication going.

How USSSA/Stro saying sorry we can't do anything is unacceptable if the coach/sponsor does not respond back. There has to be a clear line of communication.

Now if the coach/sponsor responds and says no, then there is at least communication. But this is pretty bad when he's been asking for weeks with no reply.
